Chad Robinson

Chad is the definition of a Canadian entrepreneur. His first business began before he could spell entrepreneur, at the age of 9, when he organized his friends and started a lawn care company. Since that time Chad has had businesses importing computers from Korea, running a software company and obtaining his mortgage brokers license. His true passion has always been the real estate industry, where Chad is a licensed real estate and mortgage broker. If you speak to his mother, who has been a real estate broker since 1967, she will recount that she was writing an offer while she was in labour! With his zest for the real estate industry, one wonders if his mother was joking or not!

Chad is President and Broker of VERICO Best Interest Mortgages Inc., with agents in Ottawa, Kingston and the Ottawa Valley. He is a past Director on the Board of the Independent Mortgage Brokerage Association of Ontario (IMBA) and is a current sitting member on the Membership Committee of the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals Association (CAAMP).

Chad Robinson has a unique focus on small to mid-size development projects and clients with multi-tenant portfolios. “It came to my attention several years ago that local branches do not have the time or expertise to properly service high net worth clients who have large real estate investment portfolios. I have since gone on to develop a strong relationship with lenders and underwriters who understand the complexity of rental programs”. His areas of expertise in the mortgage industry include first time investors, commercial construction and investment real estate.

Chad earned a B. Economics from Carleton University in Ottawa, with a focus on international business, including a year of study abroad.
