Shawn joined Quest Software in 2000 as a result of the acquisition of FastLane Technologies, the leader in Microsoft migration and administration tools where he was responsible for the management of several software products. Prior to FastLane, he was employed with Hummingbird Communications where he managed the development of several products in the Business Intelligence market.

Shawn has more than 14 years of technical and managerial experience in the software development industry, building and leading the production of award winning software products. He has a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Acadia University.

Shawn is also a real estate investor specializing in multifamily investment properties (5+ units). In the past 4 years of investing in real estate he has purchased five positive cashflow properties with a total of 52 apartments. Shawn has extensive experience and proven systems for purchasing and managing investment real estate focusing on positive cashflow and long term equity appreciation. He is a member of the Real Estate Investment Network (REIN) which is the leading real estate group in Canada. He has also held the position of Vice President of the Ottawa Real Estate Investors Organization (OREIO) in 2007/2008.
