Daniel Benatuil is CMHC's Market Analyst for Ottawa and the surrounding area. Prior to joining CMHC, Daniel held multiple positions in the retail banking sector. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce with Economics Major from Concordia University and a Master of Arts in Economics from Queen’s University
Investing Outside of Your Inner Circle

Rich has been investing in Real Estate for over 15 years, all while working full-time as a TV Producer. With the support of his fellow REIN members, Rich has put together a presentation to help protect our members from losing their hard earned money. We all know somebody that has lost money from getting into a bad investment, right? The question is how did it happen and was it avoidable?
Many people that have been quite successful on their own come to OREIO to take their investing to the next level. It can be overwhelming when you're presented with numerous opportunities that leave you confused and wondering... Is this offer too good to be true? Does this offer me the security I need? How do I pick the right investment? The truth is many of us don't know what questions to ask that will help us distinguish between a good investment and a bad one. Don't allow yourself to be fooled by a good sales pitch!
If you're considering investing outside of your "inner circle" or you're looking for somebody to invest with you, than you won't want to miss next month's meeting.
