Post-event Update
On Monday, August 11, 2008, more than 60 members and friends gathered at Kitchissippi Lookout to dine and network at OREIO’s annual summer barbecue event. This year the executive decided to hire out the cooking so that we too could network with our members.
The day threatened to pour on us, but the real-estate gods were with us despite a few rain drops and some very black clouds and a few lightening bolts, just to scare us. The weather held and as the skies cleared more and more members came out. By 7:00 p.m. the patio was full. The volume was high as members and friends “networked†with each other in an attempt to fill in their Networking Bingo Cards. Sixteen people handed in completed cards at the end of the evening and a prize will be awarded at the September meeting to the “Best Bingo Networker!†(not really – it was just a random draw!)
Thanks to all that came up to network and dine with us. Hope you enjoyed the food and the company – and the pictures! (coming soon)
