As the Secretary for the Ottawa Real Estate Investment Organization
(OREIO) , I am pleased to announce the election results from our
members meeting on April 10.

President: Joanne Beehler

Presiding Past President: John Walsh

Vice-President: Glenn Scott

Treasurer: Kevin Meldrum (re-elected)

Secretary: Michelle Bishop (re-elected)

Event Coordinators: Brad Nemes and Chantha Nhamiak

Webmaster: Shawn Holmesdale

Membership: Ruth Holmesdale and Shamile Khan


To our previous executive…

First, we would like to thank John Walsh for the three great years he
held the presidency. He led this group from its inception and built
the structure of the group which is now 110 members strong.  John
will remain part of the executive as presiding executive and will
assist in the transition to the new president.

Thanks also goes out to Tamara MacLaren, our previous Vice-President,
for her words of wisdom and the great ideas she brought to the
organization.

Over the last year, we have received some great feedback on the
improvement of our speakers.  The credit goes to our previous event
coordinators, Chipo Shambare and Albert Boudreau.  Not only were
these two fun to work with, they raised the bar on the quality of
speakers they attracted.  The next team has some large shoes to fill!

To our previous webmaster, Chris Hesse and our librarian, Ratilal
Haria, thank you for your contributions to the Library and Web Site,
as well as your time, effort, and suggestions at Executive meetings.
