This Conference, the first of its kind, will follow the release of
the City of Ottawa's 2005 Annual Development Report. The main
presentations will provide up-to-date information and analysis on
demographic data, employment, housing, the office and industrial
markets and the retail and tourism sectors, and evaluate Ottawa's
competitive positioning vis-à-vis Canada's other major cities. There
will also be a presentation on BizPal, a new online initiative that
will provide businesses with one-stop access to information on
permits and licences from all levels of government.
