The June 2009 OREIO meeting promises to be a very interesting one, filled with OREIO’s very own real estate investors sharing their stories. Fellow members will share with you their stories of inspiration as well as their trials and tribulations of investing. This is what you have asked for – real-life stories – so don’t miss this event!

As well, we will hear from David Lyman, a partner with Dickie and Lyman, Ottawa’s expert legal firm for dealing with Landlord/Tennant issues. David will be speaking on Safety and Security Issues within rental units.

Finally, a new feature this year, is to have a quarterly market update from one of our own members, experts in the lending field of real-estate investing. This month will feature Brad Nemes, a mortgage agent from Capital Mortgages, who will share with us his perspective on trends in the ever-changing lending market within the last quarter.
