Kristina Ingrid (Sustainable Foundations) - "The Greening of Rental Properties"
Kristina will be sharing her story of getting into real estate investing. In a year and a half, Kristina went from one poorly managed rental property in Hull to over 30 doors. This presentation will provide an overview of how Kristina got started in real estate investing, the courses and educational materials she used to get educated, and the process of incorporating and starting a business. It will also highlight the environmental and philanthropic vision of her company, Sustainable Foundations Inc. that is working to green rental properties.
Babette Turner (MasterMind Mortgages) - "Rehab Gone Rrrreal Wrong"
Babette purchased a property in February 2008 for her first renovate and "flip". Things did not go as planned. They went very very different than planned. This was a two year long "process", part of which required a certain amount of personal growth and relfection. Babette will share all the mistakes and lessons learned along the way with the rehab gone wrong.

Story of how two old friends reconnected after many years and started investing in real estate - partly as a hobby, and partly to build a retirement nest egg.
