Pippa Beck trained as an occupational therapist and is currently a policy analyst with Non-Smokers' Rights Association (NSRA). The NSRA is a national non-profit organization with a mission to promote public health by reducing illness and death caused by tobacco, including second-hand smoke. Pippa has the lead on the second-hand smoke file at the NSRA, providing timely and in-depth research and policy analyses to governments, health intermediaries, and the media on issues such as multi-unit dwellings, municipal smoke-free by-laws, smoke-free policies in a variety of settings (indoors and out), and provincial and territorial smoke-free legislation.
