Dear OREIO members,

As you have probably heard, the City is developing options for changes to curbside waste collection to take to Committee and Council in Q1 2022.

While the city has closed their poll, the Eastern Ontario Landlords Organization (EOLO), who we are affiliated with, would like to conduct a focus group with OREIO members who are either property managers or have a number of properties that they self manage. Our intent is to ensure that our OREIO members have input into the process and ensure our concerns are properly considered before the proposal reaches committee and council. As you know, EOLO is well respected within the city and council.

We are aiming to have these internal focus groups in November.

If you would like to be part of the focus group, then email vp@oreio.org and let me know of your interest. Even if you do not wish to be part of the focus group, then feel free to identify your concerns to me and I can help aggregate this.
