There was a question about where to buy gold & other precious metals.  This is what I've researched:

I'm thinking it's better to buy gold bullion not the higher priced collector coins, for the purpose of having a hedge against inflation (of course if you like collector coins and are into that - that's cool too!).   Bullion coins prices track the gold price, but collector coins are about $1,000 above the gold price.
