Coming up on April 11, we have Rosaline Hill as our keynote speaker. She’s an architect who will be speaking about how to develop new property in Ottawa and in particular how to take advantage of new initiatives in the city that favour small multi family buildings of 2-10 units. She has designed everything from single family homes to high rise apartment buildings. Come out for what promises to be a great night at OREIO.

Rosaline Hill is principal architect and owner of Rosaline J. Hill Architect Inc., an Ottawa based full service architectural practice with a focus on infill housing. She founded her practice in 2011, after a decade of working at Barry J. Hobin and Associate Architects, as well as 4 years of work in Toronto and London, England. Rosaline has a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, is an active member of the Greater Ottawa Home Builder's Association (GOHBA) serving on the Urban Infill Council, in addition to being a member of the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), and the Ottawa Regional Society of Architects (ORSA).

Rosaline's thorough knowledge of Ottawa's Official Plan and other regulations allows for design projects that win approvals and make the City a better place to live. She continues to volunteer her time providing input on upcoming infill bylaws and is on the cutting edge of this ever changing development industry. With an intimate knowledge of Ottawa's infill housing market, purchaser expectations, and evolving building code and zoning regulations, Rosaline focuses her energy on providing clients with the expertise to build their business plans toward more profitable development models.
