Our keynote speaker this month is Phil Rimer. Phil is a partner at the law firm Dentons, where his practice specializes in real estate development and securities law. Whenever real estate investors accept investment from passive investors, there is a requirement to comply with securities regulations. There have been several high profile cases in the news in recent months involving real estate investors doing things incorrectly. This educational session is very important for all OREIO members to attend.
