Rodney Wilts is a Partner in Theia Partners and involved in all aspects of the business. Theia does three things: creates high-impact real estate development projects, acquires and improves existing affordable housing, and develops and manages low-carbon district energy systems. He’s best known for his work leading the master planning of the world-class Zibi project. Zibi is Canada’s first One Planet Community, transforming a formerly contaminated industrial site into a showpiece sustainable, mixed-use community, powered by a zero-carbon district energy system. Rodney started his career as an environmental lawyer with West Coast Environmental Law. He founded Canada’s first green building supply company, and was formerly a partner with Windmill Developments. In addition to being a co-owner of Theia, Rodney is an owner of Evolta Electric, an electrical contracting company that specializes in sustainability. When not creating better buildings and communities, Rodney can be found paddling Quebec whitewater rivers, sailing, or skiing in Gatineau Park.
