Kudos for Rich, Victor and all other current and past executive members for all the great work in growing OREIO to what it is today…  by bringing great speakers, providing quality education and encouraging members on their journey, personal development and to share their experiences.

From our Feb 12 meeting it appears that the majority of the OREIO members are in agreement with Rich Danby offering well structured Real Estate Education with his proposed Master of Real Estate program but want to keep OREIO as a non-profit organization.

From all of the discussions I heard there was allot of great ideas and suggestions on how to improve OREIO which is already one of the best Real Estate Investment Club in Canada. Founded by John Walsh in 2002, OREIO grew from a few people wanting to share their knowledge, research and experience in Real Estate Investing to the wonderful organization it is today. The majority of members agree that they want OREIO to continue growing as a non-profit organization where members can continue to network, share and learn with like minded people.

I believe that all members should be allowed to contribute to OREIO in whatever capacity (increase the number of volunteer opportunities or allow them to take a leadership role) in order to continue improving and growing OREIO as an organization managed by volunteers. Every member should be encouraged to keep asking questions, voice their opinion and contribute if they wish in whatever capacity they can to the continuous success of OREIO.

    Hey guys,

In the invite, Victor says that registration will be required to receive a password. But there is nothing in the invite or OREIO website to show this? At least as of the writing of this topic.

Is a password no longer required?
