In a city built on tape, red and yellow. this is probably not what you want to read...

But it is important to be involved in policy, review, creation and implementation.  This is a fundamental function of executive as a whole.  It is what will guide us and give us understanding of our organization.

I would be involved in these following items with OREIO beyond executive meeting minutes and moderation of meetings:

    +Policy

Policy is what allows us to create new avenues of opportunity for engagement and growth.  It solidifies ideas and gives us metrics to measure improvement and execution.

    +Whitepapers

I would like to start a repository of information (whitepapers and videos) which can be curated on OREIO.  This can be managed under an editor / peer-reviewed system of information.  This would be similar to problem-based learning system which is quite common in professional education settings.

+Feedback review - Minutes Posting and Local recognition

Bi-yearly member feedback review.  We need your help and feedback.  This would need to compiled and results reflected back to the membership.  We do this now, but are there better questions to ask?  What is our confirmation bias which we need answered?  Also as part of feedback I would ask the minutes of executive meeting be posted on a regular basis.

Who are our leaders in community building and investment successes?  We can recognize members and their accomplishments.

Feel free to use these ideas.

    MC
